About Us

Word games either respect your vocabulary or they don't, and Ardeney was put together by people mildly annoyed at trivia apps that recycle the same fifty questions.

Inside you'll find anagram scrambles, category-based trivia decks, and a couple of speed-round word searches where the clock matters more than the dictionary. Difficulty actually climbs as you go instead of flatlining after level ten. A handful of categories even rotate weekly, so the trivia deck doesn't sit frozen for long.

Question sets get refreshed rather than reused wholesale, so a category you cleared last month isn't just the same fifty prompts reshuffled - repeat visitors were the whole reason for bothering with that.

Everything runs in HTML5, so there's no app to update - refresh the page and whatever's new that week just loads.

Ardeney keeps the whole thing ad-funded, which is also why nothing here asks for a subscription and there's no daily-limit gate stopping a longer session if the mood strikes..
